Fans of 90’s pop went wild this week when Louise Redknapp announced plans for her first live concert in 15 years.
The former Eternal and Strictly Come Dancing star took to Instagram to tell fans that she had been back in the studio ‘reworking’ some of her classic 1990s tracks and will perform a comeback show in London this December.
“I’m so excited to announce that I’ll be playing my first live show in over 15 years (!) on the 22nd of December at Under The Bridge in London.” Louise said.
“I’ll be performing all the hits plus some covers of some of my favourite songs and maybe even some new material.”
“Thank you to all you guys for all the support over the last 24 years since ‘Stay’!!!!!”

ETERNAL ‘STAY’:
Teasing fans further Louise later took to Twitter to reveal that she will be releasing a series of acoustic videos, filmed at Metropolis Studios, in the run up to her show at Under The Bridge in London.
Explaining further Redknapp said “to celebrate and get you in the mood, over the coming weeks I’ll also be releasing a series of acoustic videos that we filmed at the renowned Metropolis Studios.”
“Expect to hear some of the classic hits, as well as some covers of songs that are really dear to me.”

Since finishing as runner up on last years Strictly Come Dancing, Louise has often spoken of how taking part in the BBC dance competition helped her to re-find her confidence and love of performing.
And any nerves the pop princess may have had about hitting the stage as a solo artist again, were quickly put to bed as tickets for the show sold out within minutes!
“Words cannot express my thanks to everyone that has bought tickets for the show in December!!” Louise wrote on Instagram.
“I was so nervous to announce this show and to now officially say it’s SOLD OUT is so crazy.”

Louise Redknapp first rose to fame as part of girl band Eternal in the 1990s.
Following the massive success of their debut album ‘Always & Forever’, Louise decided to quit the band in 1995 to pursue a solo career.
From the there she released 3 studio albums, 12 top 20 singles and embarked on 2 solo headline tours.
The last few months of 2017 look set to be a busy time for Louise.
As well as her show in London, she is also set to star alongside Will Young in the musical ‘Cabaret’ which tours the UK from September until December.
Redknapp will play the part of Sally Bowles.
