Her big break finally came in 1983 when she was cast as the character Eve Evie Tozer in the American romance film, Road to China, which turned out to be a huge hit. This led to a turnaround in her career as she began to take on bigger roles. She featured in several hit movies and TV series in the 80s, like The Four Seasons, Lace, Nothing in Common, and Jaws 3-D. In 1993, she scored her biggest role on the television series, My So-Called Life, which thrust her further into the spotlight. Since then, she has gone on to appear in more movies and TV series such as Frailer, Boston Legal,Mad Men, and Scandal. Lately, she’s become relatively rare on the big screen, mostly due to her age.
